“His Ears Are Open”

We will begin pondering the word ~open~. Right now we have all experienced the inconvenience of restaurants, schools, and certain stores etc.… not being opened due to the Coronavirus. There are those that have no  job to go to, and this is causing great stress for so many. It is quite amazing how it is so easy to take for granted what we deem as normal and how easy things can change. Such things like this can cause the still waters of our hearts to be troubled at times.

Today we will ponder that God never changes. one of the many wonderful things about our God is that is His eyes are toward us and His ears are always open as we cry out to him for help.

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry for help.”
Psalm 34:15 – Christian Standard Bible

“For the Eternal watches over the righteous,
and His ears are attuned to their prayers.
He is always listening.”
Psalm 34:15 – The Voice translation

While we are all facing different inconveniences at this time I encourage you to remember in those times of frustration, lack of peace  or not knowing what to do… Call on the Lord for His ears are open to your cry for HE IS ATTUNED to your prayer!   He will perfect that which concerns you and He will lead and guide you each day. We can thank Him continually that His peace can permeate us in a time when we can feel the lack of peace all around us.

We serve a good God, and the Lord is our Shepherd and in Him we will have no want. What is it that you need to cry out to Him right now? Know that His ears are open to you today.
