“Trust and Obey”

God wants all of us! When we acknowledge Him in all of our ways we will consider Him with every word we speak, action we take, and decision we make.

Our accumulated knowledge can bring the temptation to us to be wise in our own eyes.    Lord, please help us to recognize this sin when we are tempted to it!  This is a very dangerous place for a believer to live. If we lean on our own understanding and knowledge even in the smallest degree we are not trusting Him with all of our heart, mind, will and intellect. One translation says

“Don’t think you can decide on your own what is right and what is wrong. “The Voice

I leave these two scriptures for you to meditate upon…

“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.”    Proverbs 3:5-8. TPT

“Have faith in Him in all circumstances, dear people. Open up your heart to Him; the True God shelters us in His arms.”
Psalm 62:8 -The Voice
