In this teaching we saw that Isaiah 61 was speaking prophetically about Jesus. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; BECAUSE…” Oh how wonderful it is to know that our God does all things in purpose. Isaiah speaks of Christ coming and carrying an anointing. That anointing was upon Him to bring good news to the poor, and set the captives free.
In our life as we face change we need to follow the pattern of Jesus’ walk. We too ought to walk as He walked. As we were taught from Leviticus 25 we saw the history and beauty of the Sabbath rest and our spiritual inheritance and the blessing of observing and receiving it.
