Devotional for Wednesday, March 14, 2018
“Now To Him…”

“I ask the Father with His great glory to give you the power to be strong in your spirits. He will give you that strength through His Spirit. I pray that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith. I pray that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love—how wide, how long, how high, and how deep that love is. Christ’s love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with everything God has for you.”

Today we will meditate on being full of our Lord. What does it mean to be full? Paul sums it up here in his prayer, and that is knowing and understanding the greatness of our Lord‘s love. It is understanding how wide, how long, how high, and deep that love really is.
 
For us to express the fullness of the love of God we need to understand that it can only be done in and through Christ. May we desire to contain all that Jesus is, may we be filled to the utmost capacity of His love, peace, joy, all that He is… In order that we stay full we absolutely must seek to be in faith and be prayerful as we daily live for Him. Only you can ask the Holy Spirit to fill every aspect of your life to its fullest.
 
It is as we stay full of Him that we will have the power to live and rise above every trial and circumstance that we face in this life. It is as we are full of Him that He is able to do great things as we release our faith. I want to leave you with this scripture, and in my opinion it is one of the most powerful verses in the Bible, and I love to meditate upon it often.
 
Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.”
 
Today I encourage you to pray and ask the Lord to know His love in a greater way than you have ever known. See Him as the God that is able to do above all that you dare ask, think, and is able to do above your wildest dreams in Jesus Name!
